Ball and Buck Upland Vest in Dark Oak waxed cotton, front view with flap pockets and leather Arthur patch

Ball and Buck Upland Vest – Waxed Cotton Bird Hunting Vest

$448.00 USD
Color
Size

The sleeveless version of the Upland Jacket, for bird days when a full coat is too much.

Early season pheasant, quail in the South, chukar on a warm afternoon — the miles are long and the sleeves come off by ten o'clock. The Ball and Buck Upland Vest keeps everything a bird hunter actually uses: a game pocket you can reach from either side, shell pockets that drain, and reinforced shoulders for both right- and left-handed shooters.

The shell is 8.25 oz Shelter Tent waxed cotton that repels water and gets better with wear. Inside is a brushed Original Camo cotton lining, with British moleskin lining the hand warmer pockets.

Built Around How Bird Hunters Move

  • Dual-side game pocket — rear pocket reachable from left or right, lined in water-repellent blaze orange
  • Double shooting shoulders — reinforced on both sides for ambidextrous shooting
  • Draining shell pockets — front pockets compatible with the Versa Shell Holder Patch
  • Weather shield stash pocket — water-resistant YKK AquaGuard zip for phone and license
  • Solid brass hardware — Scovill snaps and a #10 YKK brass zipper

Where It Earns Its Keep

Opening-day pheasant walks, Southern quail plantations, dove fields that turn cool at dusk, and as a layer over a flannel when the season gets cold. It also wears well off the field.
