A waxed cotton field coat that works as hard as it looks.

The Ball and Buck Waxed Field Jacket uses waxed cotton from an English mill that has been making it since 1880. It's cut as a do-everything field coat: shell pockets that drain, a dedicated hand warmer pocket, adjustable cuffs, and double reinforcement at the elbows and forearms. Inside is the Original Camo lining, and the Quilted Insulated Liner Vest zips in for cold weather.

What Makes It a Field Coat

  • Self-draining shell pockets — Versa Shell Holder compatible, with a separate hand warmer pocket
  • Double-reinforced elbows and forearms — where brush and blind lids wear a coat out

  • Locking YKK zipper and brass closures — plus a waistband drawstring and tab cuffs

Where It Earns Its Keep

Late-season pheasant, cold mornings in a duck blind, ranch chores, and travel days. Add the zip-in liner vest and it covers most of the season.

Care

  • Sponge off dirt with cold water only
  • Hang to dry somewhere with good airflow
