How many decoys do I need for ducks?
A dozen to two dozen covers many small-water and timber setups; open water and field hunts often call for larger spreads. Realistic motion and correct placement matter more than sheer numbers.
What should I wear to stay warm in the duck blind?
Layer a merino or synthetic base, an insulating mid-layer, and a waterproof, windproof outer shell. Waders over insulated layers, plus quality gloves and a beanie, make cold, wet sits survivable.
Do I need a special call for geese?
