Wade Boots

Wading boots and wading shoes for stockingfoot waders: felt soles, cleated soles, sticky rubber and surf wading boots. Choose the sole for the bottom you fish. Felt grips slick, algae-covered river rock best, but some states restrict it to stop invasive species spreading. Sticky rubber is the all-round, travel-legal choice. Cleats bite on mud, ice and steep banks.
