High Visibility & Blaze Orange Hunting Gear
Blaze orange and hi-vis hunting clothing: blaze hats and beanies, safety vests, jackets, bibs and pants, field shirts, mittens, neck warmers and face-mask caps. This is the gear that keeps you visible to other hunters during rifle, muzzleloader and upland seasons. It includes blaze pink options where states allow them, and blaze camo patterns that break up your outline to deer while staying visible to people.
How much blaze orange do you need?
Hunter-orange rules are set by each state, and they differ by season and by land type. Many states require a blaze orange hat, a vest, or a set number of square inches of orange on your head, chest and back during firearm deer season. Some also require it for upland bird and small game hunting, and on public land. A few states now accept fluorescent pink. Check your state wildlife agency's current regulations before you hunt.
Tip: deer see orange as a dull, muted tone, so blaze costs you little concealment. Movement and scent matter far more.
