The Mora Garberg is Morakniv's full-tang knife: a 3.2 mm Scandi-ground blade that runs through the handle, so it can baton firewood and pry without the tang flexing. Every Garberg shares the same blade shape. You're choosing two things.
Steel: carbon (black-coated) sharpens easier and throws sparks off a ferro rod; stainless resists rust when you're working a wet deer. Sheath: poly is light and drains; leather is quiet and classic; Multi-Mount clips to a belt, pack strap or MOLLE. If you want fire and sharpening covered too, start with the Garberg Survival kit. For other models, see all Mora knives.

Mora Garberg — Common Questions
Is the Mora Garberg carbon or stainless better?
Carbon for bushcraft and fire starting; stainless for hunting in wet weather and lower maintenance.
Is the Garberg good for field dressing deer?
It works, but the thick spine is built for camp chores. Many hunters pair it with a dedicated skinner from our game processing knives.
What comes with the Garberg Survival?
The same knife and poly sheath, plus a ferro rod and diamond sharpener integrated into the sheath. See all Mora survival knives.
