Helium 7'10" MAD Fishing Rod
Most heavy rods do one thing. This one has a following because it refuses to.
The original Helium MAD earned a reputation among the few hundred anglers who owned one, and the 2026 build is the same idea done again. It is a moderate action on a 7'10" heavy blank — the big rainbow bend that keeps treble hooks in a thrashing fish rather than tearing them loose, with enough butt section to punch a jig through thick grass and drag what comes out of it back to the boat.
It throws a 2 oz crankbait or a glide bait a long way, which is unusual in a rod that will also handle a punch rig. That range is the whole point of it.

Who this is for, and who should look elsewhere
For: anglers who want one heavy rod that covers deep cranks, glides and heavy cover rather than three rods that each cover one.
Look elsewhere if: you fish big swimbaits almost exclusively — the Big Country 7'10" extra-heavy at $400 is the more single-minded tool. And if you want a fast-action heavy for hooksets at distance, the Helium in H at $300 is a better match than a moderate blank.
